Hi all

I have a problem, my FSX crashes after approx. 1h 30 mins of flight, no matter wich airplane or scenary I use (i have several addons installed and worked great in the past months).  In fact I experienced some problems using Airbus series vol1 (Wilco) ( i can't set startup conditions - button is grey) too.

I don't want to format my pc again (after 1 month again), so some suggestions??

Thanks.

Instead of formatting the PC completely, start by trimming down FSX and work your way back to the standard FSX.
I've encountered a problem much like your own. The period of time is completely variable here though. Sometimes it happens when I'm in the cockpit for only 5 minutes, sometimes it happens after 1 hour, sometimes after 3 or 5. Sometimes it doesn't crash at all during a 14h-flight.
To see if it fixes anything, I'll start by disabling global scenery files one by one (mesh, REX, UTX ...), then specific sceneries (EBBR, ELLX ...) and if the problem still exists then, I'll delete the aircraft... I know it's a lot of work, and it's much more time-consuming than just formatting everything, but with this method you know where the problem lies so you can avoid in the future.

FSX automatically disables the aero-function of Vista and 7, doesn't it?

You're right, but I had everytime crash with my fsx on win7. And after disable completely Aero, it works better.

I think Aero is not completely disabled if you don't disable it manually. I had some Crash Event like "windows manager has encoured an error" (or something like that)

Is there some visible improvements in FSX using Win 7 compared to winXp?? (ex. for Dx11)

And also, is the Ivao software fully compatible with Win 7 ??
